Given that thelemapedia.org is potentially not going to be sticking around, (it’s up time being spotty at best and the admins or perhaps lack there of, missing obvious bad actors creating malicious pages on the site) we worry that it may at some point become deprecated. As such we have cloned about 99% of the content, primarily the text, to preserve it here for posterity.
Note: What appear to be apparently missing articles at this stage my yet be merely misplaced, the migration of the old wiki link system to the new one has been piecemeal, at best, and the linking process will continue. Also, in the process of capturing the site data we were unable to pull original article authorship or change history. Reach out on Instagram if you have questions about attribution or contribution.

Leila Waddell (1880-1932), Crowley’s most famed Scarlet Woman, is a powerful historical figure in magic and Thelema in her own right. Immortalized in The Book of Lies and the Confessions and familiarly addressed by Crowley as Laylah, she was a writer, magician, musician, daughter of Irish immigrants to Australia, mother, and founding member of the original company of the Rites of Eleusis. She was also, arguably, Crowley’s most powerful muse, inspiring numerous poems.
